Stop retyping quotes into your ERP

What you calculated lands in the ERP as a document, with no step in between: quote, sales order, purchase order, stock move, invoice. Already running Odoo? PCBoffer attaches to it. No ERP at all yet? Then we set Odoo up for you, tailored to electronics manufacturing, and you get both from one place.

Every quote is written twice, and the margin gets lost in between

You calculate in Excel or in a costing tool and you book in the ERP. Someone sits between the two and moves every line by hand: part number, quantity, price, supplier. Every typo is a margin error, every quote revision has to be redone twice. Then there is the time lost: component prices move within days, and a quote that sits three days in review is costed at the prices of the day before yesterday. The biggest margin loss does not happen in purchasing, it happens between costing and accounting.

How one order moves through both systems

01

Cost the assembly

Material from over 350 price feeds, queried at the moment you cost it rather than taken from last quarter's price list. Manufacturing time is calculated on your own machines.

02

The quote becomes an ERP document

Line items, quantities and prices sit in the ERP without anyone typing them in. When the customer places the order, the costing sees it without asking.

03

Purchasing and stock follow

Purchase orders are created with supplier, price break and lead time, straight in the purchasing module. What is already in your own store is not ordered again.

04

After production: the honest comparison

Once the invoice is booked, the quoted price sits next to the material and purchase costs actually booked. You see order by order where the costing held and where it did not.

What runs with Odoo today

Maintain customers, parts and documents once

Master data stays identical on both sides, and quotes and orders are created exactly once. Neither side becomes the outdated copy, and nobody creates a new customer twice.

Purchasing at today's prices

The sourcing result becomes the purchase order, with supplier, price break and lead time. Prices and availability come straight from the distributors, not from a list somebody has to maintain.

Stock in the ERP module you already use

No second warehouse program alongside. Bookings happen where your people already book: full warehouse management with bin locations, barcode and QR booking on a scanner or tablet, label printing. The costing reads the stock, and the warehouse knows what an open quote has already committed.

Goods receipts and customer orders without retyping

Orders and delivery notes arrive as PDF or email and are read automatically: customer, part, quantity, delivery date, price. Before any of it becomes an ERP document, a person checks and confirms.

Bills of material with alternates and revisions

Several BOMs per assembly, several approved alternates per line, every revision traceable. When a part goes end-of-life, the where-used list tells you immediately which assemblies and which customers are affected.

Odoo implemented, tailored to electronics manufacturing

We do not just connect Odoo, we implement it: process analysis, master data migration, chart of accounts, document templates, go-live and training. The process landscape comes as a ready-made cut for EMS providers and can be adapted where your plant works differently. One partner for ERP and manufacturing instead of two projects waiting on each other.

Adapter when you switch ERP, your costing stays untouched

What you get out of it at year end

Your ERP knows to the cent what an order brought in and what the material cost. That lets you set the quoted price against the booked cost, order by order. What the ERP does not know is the time that actually passed on the shop floor: setup, stoppages, rework. As long as nobody records it, the manufacturing share stays a simulation, a good one, but a calculated one. To extend the plan-versus-actual comparison to manufacturing time you need feedback from the machines. That is what the MES module is for.

Frequently asked questions

Which ERP systems can PCBoffer connect to?
Any of them, in principle. Each system attaches through its own adapter to a neutral data model that belongs to no vendor. Odoo is fully connected in both directions today; SAP, Microsoft Dynamics/Navision, Sage, Infor and home-grown systems attach at the same place. That this also holds for an older inventory system has been verified: at one customer an item master of 20,004 records was read in full and pushed through the costing. A new ERP costs one adapter, not a new integration project. The same holds for scope: it does not have to be the whole package, a single module can be rolled out on its own.
How deep does the Odoo integration go?
Across all five commercial areas, in both directions. Customer and item masters stay in sync; quotes and sales orders from a costing appear in Odoo with line items and prices, and the order status flows back; purchase orders are created with supplier, price break and lead time; stock levels, movements and deliveries are read and written; invoices and journal entries close the loop from quote to booked revenue.
We are replacing our home-grown system: Odoo or SAP?
The difference is not where people look for it. Creating a material, holding stock, raising a purchase order: PCBoffer writes all of that into either system. What differs is the return direction. With Odoo it runs back across all five commercial areas today, so order status, booked stock and the invoice land in the costing again. With SAP we deliver the same path out; the return path we set up per installation, because every SAP is cut differently. It only becomes noticeable once the machines join in: as soon as feedback from production has to run against the costing, it is the depth of the interlocking that decides, not the number of modules. Anyone with no ERP at all today gets there faster with Odoo.
We have no ERP at all yet. Does PCBoffer implement Odoo?
Yes, as general contractor. Process analysis, master data migration, chart of accounts and document templates, scanner and label processes, go-live and training. The process landscape is cut for EMS providers and does not have to be invented first; it is adapted where your plant works differently. You get one partner for ERP and manufacturing instead of two vendors pointing at each other when an interface fails.
Will we end up with a second warehouse system next to the ERP?
No. Stock runs in the ERP's own warehouse module, the environment your people already book in. That module holds full warehouse management: bin locations, goods receipt, transfer, picking and return, booking by barcode or QR on a scanner or tablet, plus label printing. PCBoffer reads the stock and writes back what a quote or a production order has committed.
What happens to our costing if we replace the ERP?
Nothing. Costing, sourcing and planning read the neutral data model and never the field names of a particular ERP. Switching systems changes one adapter; the calculation rules that produce your prices stay untouched.
